Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Reveal Trailer

It’s a new year which means a new Call of Duty game… although ‘new’ might not be the right word to describe it.

This years installment in the Call of Duty franchise falls in Treyarch’s lap, and they went with what they know… Black Ops.

Black Ops 4 looks very similar to Black Ops 3, but without the double jumping and wall running, there’s now a focus on boots-on-the-ground, which is what World War 2 focused on as well. Also this time around, Treyarch decided to ditch a single player campaign completely and instead focus on 3 multiplayer modes: Traditional PvP multiplayer, Zombies, and a new mode Blackout, which is a Battle Royale game mode.

I understand why they ditched the single player campaign, from a business standpoint, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed. I do enjoy playing through the campaigns when I have a chance, but I am looking forward to see what they do with the battle royale mode. I enjoyed Fortnite when it first came out, haven’t played in a while, but I did enjoy it for a while… it seems like it’s becoming a little ridiculous for my taste these days, but oh well. I will say that these trailers have made me kind of excited for Black Ops 4 though… I guess we’ll see when the beta comes, since I already pre-ordered it.

So what do you think of the Black Ops 4 reveal?
