Year 2 Season Pass Available for Rainbow Six Siege Today!

rainbow six siege year 2 season pass

Ubisoft has announced that the Year 2 season pass for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is available for purchase today on PC, PS4 and Xbox One for $29.99. Year 2 will feature exclusive early access to eight new operators that will be released alongside Seasons throughout the year, and equivalent VIP benefits as the first year premium membership, including a boost to allow players to unlock content quicker, headgear, battle dress uniform (BDU) and more. Additionally, the Obsidian Universal Skin is available to those that order before February 7. Owners of the original Season Pass will also receive an additional 600 R6 Credits when they purchase the Year 2 Pass.

And if you don’t currently own Rainbow Six Siege, the Year 2 Gold Edition of the game will include the Year 2 season pass and the base game for $79.99, or you can pick up a bundle that also includes all of the Year 1 operators for $99.99. The Year 2 Gold Edition is available now on Playstation 4 and PC and Xbox One on December 6th.

Rainbow Six Siege continues to be one of our favorite games even though it’s been out for over a year now. Ubisoft continues to support the game in a way that not many other developers do. The fact that you can still access the DLC within the game for free even if you don’t pay for the season pass is awesome; of course you don’t get it right away and you’ve gotta grind for credits in order to unlock them, but it’s still awesome. And the fact that they are going to support the core game for another year, is outstanding. The fixes they have implemented since the launch of the game make it feel like a new game each season throughout the year. I’m still not regretting putting down Call of Duty in order to pick this up and can’t wait to see what Year 2 brings.

About Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Inspired by real-world counter-terrorist organizations, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege puts players in the middle of lethal close-quarter confrontations. For the first time in a Rainbow Six game, players will engage in sieges, a new style of assault where enemies have the means to transform their environments into modern strongholds while Rainbow Six teams lead the assault to breach the enemy’s position. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege gives players unprecedented control over their ability to fortify their position by reinforcing walls and floors, using barbed wire and deployable shields, laying mines and more, or breach the enemies’ position using observation drones, setting charges, rappelling and more. The fast pace and uniqueness of each siege sets a new bar for intense firefights, strategic gameplay and competitive gaming.
