Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC: Sabotage Trailer

Here’s your first look at the very first DLC for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare – Sabotage. Sabotage includes three brand NEW multiplayer maps – Noir, Renaissance, and Neon, and then Dominion, which is a reimagining of “Afghan” from Modern Warfare 2. It also includes “Rave in the Redwoods”, a new 90’s themed zombies adventure.

It’s no secret that most of us here at Type 2 Gaming aren’t huge fans of the latest installment of Call of Duty (or even the last few installments), so for us to form opinions on just this video would be unfair to those that do enjoy the game. Just because we don’t enjoy something doesn’t mean that other people don’t, and doesn’t mean that our opinions should sway someone one way or the other. I know that Berserk Hippo, who writes for us, is really starting to enjoy the game, while David and I didn’t even bother picking it up after playing the beta. And I know that it’s unfair to form an opinion based on the beta, but I feel that the things I didn’t like about the beta were core gameplay elements, and not anything that would have been fixed after a public beta. Things like the wall running and double jumping, and the super busy maps. I just wasn’t feeling it.

But that being said, and the zombies portion of these games has always been my least favorite part, I will say that the Rave in the Redwoods looks kind of cool, except when the black lights seem to illuminate all of the florescent colors and stuff, that seems unnecessary. It looks absolutely amazing as just a throwback horror theme, but the rave part kind of pushes it a little too far out there, but it looks like players are really going to like it.

The Sabotage DLC will be available on Playstation 4 on January 31, 2017 and will follow on other consoles at a later date.

So take a look at the trailer and let us know which map you’re most excited for in the new DLC in the comments!
